Tim “Timmy” Mislock is a musician and ambient composer living in North Carolina. Formerly a resident of NYC and LA, he relocated to NC in the fall of 2021.

He has written, recorded, and toured with Tegan & Sara, The Antlers, Holly Miranda, and many others.  After nearly 800 performances on Broadway and the First National Tour, Tim bid farewell to his role as Kryzystoff in the Tony Award winning musical, Hedwig and The Angry Inch. In September of 2017, he released his first solo record under his own name entitled Now Is The Last Best Time—the album explores the emotions of the caretaker's experience caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's Disease.

His most recent solo release, Always, continues to explore the sonic textures and immersive ambient worlds that have become synonymous with Tim’s guitar playing.

In addition to his solo work, Tim can be found playing around the Triangle area as part of an improvisational trio MISLOCK/PRATT/STACK founded with fellow slurm-lords Kelly Pratt and Andy Stack.
